VPNGY Support & FAQs

Organized by stage, from registration and subscription import to route selection and refund requests. Identify the issue category first, then check the local network, client settings, and current route in order.

Account

Accounts & Subscriptions

Registration, device changes, subscription updates, and client access. Manage account actions in the user panel, and do not share subscription content publicly.

Is an email address required to register for VPNGY?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a memorable password that you do not reuse elsewhere, and keep your username safe. After registration, open the user panel to view plans, get client apps, and manage your subscription.
Where can I find and update my subscription link?
Sign in to the user panel and find your current subscription on the subscription or client page. If it is already imported into a client, use the client's built-in subscription update feature first. If the route list does not change, copy the subscription from the panel again and replace the old configuration. Subscriptions are for the associated account only; do not share them publicly.
Do I need to buy another plan when switching devices?
No. VPNGY supports unlimited simultaneous devices. You can use the subscription linked to the same account on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Plan data is shared across the account. Before switching devices, remove the subscription from the old client and import it on the new one.
How do I get the right client for my operating system?
Open the client downloads page in the user panel and choose the entry for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, or Linux. After installation, return to the panel to get your subscription and import it as instructed by the client. Marketing pages do not provide static installers or subscription URLs; clients and subscriptions are managed in the user panel.

Connection

Connections & Troubleshooting

Connection issues usually require separate checks of the local network, system proxy, routing rules, and subscription status. Change one setting at a time so you can identify the source of the problem.

The client says it is connected, but websites still will not open. What should I do?
First confirm that the client has selected an available route and that it is properly managing the system proxy. Then switch to another regional route, refresh the subscription, and reconnect. If regular websites are also inaccessible, temporarily disconnect the client to confirm that the local network works, then restart the client and browser for further troubleshooting.
Why won't a particular app use the proxy?
The usual causes are that the current routing rules classify the app as a direct connection, or that the app established a connection before the client started. Fully close the app, check the client's rule mode and bypass list, then open it again. For troubleshooting, briefly switch to global mode to confirm the cause, then restore the rule mode suited to everyday use.
What should I check if no routes appear after importing a subscription?
Return to the user panel and copy the current subscription again, making sure the copied content is complete, then update the subscription in the client. If the old configuration remains, delete the old subscription and import it again. Also confirm that the client is using its subscription import function rather than opening the subscription content as an ordinary web address.
What should I do if the connection drops after switching Wi-Fi or mobile networks?
Switching networks changes the local connection state, so the existing session may need to be re-established. Wait for the local network to recover, then disconnect and reconnect in the client. If it still does not recover, switch routes or restart the client. When switching networks frequently, confirm that the system has a normal network connection before starting the route connection.

Routing

Speed & Routes

Route performance depends on local access, the path, the destination region, and the time of day. Compare different route types within the same region instead of judging by the region name alone.

How should I choose a route during evening peak hours?
Peak-hour congestion may occur on the local access network, the cross-border link, or the destination service. Start with a geographically closer route, then compare the actual performance of IEPL dedicated, relay, and direct routes. Do not stick to one region; if the current route slows noticeably, switching to another route in the same region is usually more effective than reconnecting repeatedly.
What is the difference between IEPL dedicated, relay, and direct routes?
IEPL dedicated routes focus on stable scheduling across cross-border links and suit meetings, persistent connections, and continuous transfers. Relay routes use intermediary nodes to improve access paths in some regions and work well for general daily use. Direct routes take a more direct path, but their performance depends more on the local network and time of day. Choose based on your current network and destination region.
What should I do if my connection keeps dropping when accessing AI tools?
AI chats, code completion, and command-line requests typically depend on persistent connections. If the connection drops, close duplicate sessions in the browser first, switch to a more stable route, and sign in to the target service again. If only one tool is affected, check whether the rule mode is sending its domains through a different exit and refresh the subscription rules.
How should I choose a region for streaming?
Choose a route region that matches the content region you want to access, while also considering connection quality from your location. Select the region before playback, then reopen the streaming app so the new session uses the current exit. If video quality fluctuates, try another route in the same region and avoid large downloads at the same time.
Which regions and routes does VPNGY cover?
VPNGY covers 110+ countries / 150+ routes. Routes include different regions as well as IEPL dedicated, relay, and direct types. Switch between them for web browsing, AI tools, streaming, or persistent connections. The exact available routes are shown in the client after the subscription is updated.

Billing

Billing & Refunds

Monthly plan data resets on the activation date, while data bundles remain available until used. Manage plan changes, order status, and refund requests through the user panel.

What monthly subscription prices and data tiers are available?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. All tiers use the same route coverage and platform support; the main difference is the monthly data allowance. Choose based on your actual browsing, streaming, and file-transfer needs.
When does monthly plan data reset, and can I upgrade mid-cycle?
Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date rather than clearing on the first day of the calendar month. If you need more data, you can upgrade mid-cycle in the user panel, with the price difference prorated for the remaining days. Check your current plan and remaining period before confirming the change in the panel.
What data bundle tiers are available, and do they expire?
Data bundles are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire, making them suitable for variable usage or anyone who does not want a monthly reset. Monthly plans and data bundles are billed differently, so consider your usage frequency before choosing.
Which payment methods does VPNGY support?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Available methods are shown in the plan and checkout flow in the user panel. After choosing a plan, follow the page instructions to pay, then return to the panel to check your order and subscription status. Do not transfer funds or request a subscription through unofficial channels outside the site.
How do I request a refund?
VPNGY offers refunds within 14 days without requiring a reason. To apply, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket page, describe the relevant order and refund request, and submit it. The refund policy page governs the applicable rules. Keep your order details available and avoid creating duplicate tickets for the same issue.
