BEFORE STARTING
Before You Start
The process has four parts: account, plan, subscription, and client. The account opens the user panel; the plan determines your monthly data allowance; the subscription link provides route details to the client; and the client handles route selection, system network permissions, and connection. Following this order prevents repeated subscription refreshes before a plan is active and reduces the chance of pasting the link into the wrong field.
Before you start, confirm that your device can access the VPNGY user panel and prepare a supported payment method. VPNGY supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Creating an account requires only a username and password, not an email address. Choose a username you can recognize, store the password separately, and do not reuse it on other websites. After account creation, plan management, subscription copying, client downloads, and tickets are all handled in the same user panel.
If you already have an account and an active plan, you can skip directly to “Get Your Subscription.” If you change devices, you do not need to purchase another plan; VPNGY supports unlimited simultaneous devices. Sign in to the same account on the new device and get the subscription again. Subscription contents may change during route maintenance, so copy the link again from the user panel instead of looking for it in old chats or documents.
ACCOUNT
Create an Account and Open the User Panel
On the account creation page, enter your chosen username, set a password, and confirm it. VPNGY does not require an email address; these credentials are all you need to sign in to the user panel later. Before submitting, check that the username is complete and both password entries match. Once the page confirms that the account is ready, continue to the user panel instead of returning to the marketing page to find the entry again.
When you first open the panel, review the account overview. You should normally see sections for plans, client downloads, subscriptions, and tickets. The account may not have an active plan yet, and the subscription section may not show complete details; this is normal before an order is completed. Go to the Plans section next rather than repeatedly refreshing an empty subscription area.
If the page says the username is already in use, choose another memorable username and submit again. If the password confirmation does not match, enter both passwords again. Browser autofill may insert credentials from an older site, so check each field before submitting. More account troubleshooting is available in the Help Center; this page keeps only the main steps needed to connect.
PLAN
Choose a Plan Based on Your Data Needs
In the Plans section of the user panel, you will find monthly plans and data packages. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Consider your typical use first: light web browsing and messaging usually require less data, while regular streaming, large downloads, or long-term connections on multiple devices use more. Plans do not limit the number of simultaneously connected devices, but all devices share the data in the account.
If your usage is irregular, you can also review the data packages: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. Monthly plans and data packages are billed differently, so decide whether you need a monthly reset or data that stays available for gradual use. See the Plans page for a detailed comparison.
After choosing a plan, select its Start Using option, check the plan name, amount, and payment method, and complete the order. After payment, return to the account overview to check the plan status and remaining data. If the status does not update immediately, refresh the user panel or reopen the overview instead of submitting the order repeatedly. When upgrading, the price difference is converted into remaining days; review the order confirmation area once more before proceeding.
VPNGY offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. This gives first-time users time to check the connection and device compatibility, but the connection guide does not process refund requests. For eligibility and instructions, refer to the full terms in the Refund Policy.
SUBSCRIPTION
Get Your Subscription from the User Panel
Once the plan is active, open the Subscription section in the account overview. The page provides options to copy the subscription or import it into a client. After you click Copy, the clipboard should contain content saved as a web address. It is not a regular webpage link; it is the credential a client uses to read route details. Switch to the client and paste it into a field such as “Add subscription” or “Import from link.”
The subscription link is tied to account access. Keep it on your own devices, do not post it publicly, and do not share it with people you do not know. The example in this guide is only for recognizing the format, for example:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
The address above is clearly a placeholder and cannot be used to connect. In practice, always copy the link from your own VPNGY user panel. If the copied content is empty, first confirm that the plan is active, then try signing in to the panel again. If the browser blocks clipboard access, use the page’s display or manual-copy option, select the full content, and then switch to the client.
After a successful import, the client will usually show region names, route types, or protocol labels. You do not need to edit route parameters individually because the subscription already includes the required details. When the route list changes, use “Update subscription” in the client; there is no need to create another account or place another order. For a systematic explanation of protocols and route types, see Protocol and Route Technical Reference; first-time users do not need to read it all before connecting.
CLIENT IMPORT
Import the Client on Each Platform
The client download area is in the user panel. Sign in, confirm that your plan is active, and choose the VPNGY client for your current device. This page does not provide direct installer links or require you to enter server addresses manually. Once installed, the core process is the same on all four platforms: open the client, go to subscription management, paste the subscription link, update the route list, and connect to a route.
Windows
In the client download area of the user panel, choose the Windows option, install the VPNGY client, and open it. The system may ask you to approve network access on first launch; follow the prompt to let the client establish a connection. Open subscription management, choose Add subscription or Import from link, paste the subscription content into the address field, and give it a recognizable name.
Save and update, then wait for regional routes to appear in the main interface. Choose a route and turn on the system proxy or connection switch. If the client reports a successful connection but your browser still uses the previous network, fully close and reopen the browser before continuing to the connection checks.
macOS
Get the macOS client from the user panel, follow the system prompts to install it, and open it. When connecting for the first time, macOS may show a network extension or VPN configuration permission dialog. This permission lets the client handle the network requests that need acceleration, so approve it in the system dialog. Then open the client’s subscription management area, choose Add from link, paste the full subscription content, and save it.
After the update succeeds, choose a regional route in the main interface and start the connection. If the menu bar shows a client status control, use it to check whether the connection is active. If other network tools were previously installed, disable their system proxies first to prevent multiple clients from controlling network settings at the same time.
Android
Sign in to the user panel and choose the Android option in the client download area. After installing and opening the client, go to the configuration or subscription page and choose Add via link. Long-press the input field to paste the subscription content, save it, and update. If the route list appears, the subscription was read successfully; if you see only the subscription name, return to the subscription page and update again.
The first time you tap Connect, Android will display a system VPN connection request. Confirm it so the client can create a local network tunnel. Some systems restrict background apps to save battery. If the connection drops after the screen locks, allow VPNGY to run in the background as needed in the system app settings. Settings names vary widely by device; if you cannot find the option, check the Help Center for the relevant instructions.
iOS
Open the iOS instructions in the client download area of the user panel and follow the panel prompts to get the appropriate client from the app store. In the client, find Add subscription, Download configuration, or Import from link, then paste and save your subscription content. After the update finishes, choose a regional route and tap Connect.
When connecting for the first time, iOS will ask to add a VPN configuration. After you approve it, the device may request authentication; this is part of the system authorization process. Return to the client and confirm that the status has changed to Connecting or Connected. If the subscription link is not recognized after being transferred through another app, copy it again from the user panel and paste it directly into the client field to avoid added spaces or line breaks.
VERIFY
Connect to a Route and Verify It
After importing, update the subscription once in the client, then choose a region that fits your current use. When accessing a service associated with a particular region, prefer a route in the same region or nearby; for ordinary web browsing, start with a closer region. VPNGY covers 110+ countries with 150+ routes. Route names identify the region and may include types such as IEPL dedicated lines, relay, or direct connections.
Tap the connection switch and wait for the client to show Connected. Then open the IP lookup page to see whether the current exit details have changed. You can also test a website you normally use. Do not run another proxy or a second VPN client at the same time; otherwise, the result may come from another app and lead you to misjudge whether the current route is working.
If webpages load but images, video, or long-lived connections are unstable, leave the client settings unchanged and test another route in the same region. This helps distinguish a single-route fluctuation from a local client configuration issue. During peak hours, route and routing differences can matter more than simply changing protocols. For your first setup, avoid changing protocols, split routing, and system network settings at the same time, or it will be difficult to identify what made the difference.
Confirm that the subscription is updated, a specific route is selected, and the connection switch is on.
Confirm that the device allows the VPN configuration, network extension, or local connection request.
Open the IP lookup page and run a complete test with a service you actually need to access.
After these checks, the basic connection process is complete. For everyday use, keep the subscription updating normally and switch routes as needed. To use VPNGY on multiple devices, sign in to the user panel on each device, get the appropriate client, and import the same account subscription. Unlimited devices can be online at the same time.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshoot Connection Problems in Order
If you cannot connect, do not uninstall the client first. Return to the account overview to confirm that the plan is still active and that sufficient data remains. Then update the subscription in the client and confirm that the route list appears normally. If the update fails, copy the subscription again from the user panel and replace the old address. Make sure no spaces, line breaks, or other text are included before or after the link.
If the subscription updates but no route connects, try another route first. If several routes behave the same way, check whether the system allows the client to create a VPN configuration or network extension. On desktop devices, make sure no other proxy tool is running; on mobile devices, check whether background restrictions have paused the client. After these basic checks, restart the client instead of changing protocols and split-routing rules immediately.
If the client shows Connected but the IP lookup result has not changed, check whether the client is using only partial rules and whether the browser is still holding an old connection. Close and reopen the browser, or temporarily switch to the client’s global connection mode for testing. Once the basic connection works, restore the rule mode that suits everyday use.
You can search the Help Center by category for account, order, subscription update, and common connection issues. Protocol differences, direct and relay topologies, mobile resource usage, and peak-hour congestion are covered in Protocol and Route Technical Reference. These topics do not affect first-time setup, so you do not need to read everything before connecting.
